SOUPahaute: RIHANNA FOR RIVER ISLAND COLLECTION TO DEBUT AT LONDON FASHION WEEK!

It's no news that we are all used to seeing her wear next to nothing but it's been revealed that Rihanna's debut as a designer in collaboration with River Island will be showcased at the London Fashion Week, yaaay I'm tres excited.The British Fashion Council has announced that the collection will be showcased during London Fashion Week on Saturday, February 16th.

The Good Girl Gone Bad singer said she is excited about showing her spring/summer 2013 collection of clothing and accessories alongside designers such as Burberry, Christopher Kane and Sass & Bide. "Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me," Rihanna said. "I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can’t wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!"

The chief executive of River Island, Ben Lewis, said both fans and fashionistas were in for a treat. "We are very excited to present our Rihanna for River Island collection at London Fashion Week. This is the perfect platform to showcase Rihanna’s design talent and ambition."

The collection will launch globally in River Island stores and online on March 5th and will be sold exclusively in the United States and Japan through.
