Leave Behind or Carry Over?

Loathe or Love, 2012 was a very fashionable year. From extreme nail arts, to printastic clothings, to fierce heels, etc. Personally I loved some trends and I wont say I loathed others, but because I saw many misrepresentations of it, I rather we leave them behind in 2012. So, here are some fashion trends of 2012 and my take on what should be left behind or carried over.

JEANS - carry over
Jeans made a massive comeback. The cut, color, print, etc. I'm not ready to let go of this trend and the styling possibilities are endless, so its a definite 2013 carry over.

LACE- carry over
I find lace to be sleek, soft, delicate and so feminine. However, it can be paired up to be edgy. Be it a skirt, top or dress, I can't get enough of this classic, please carry over!

CROP TOPS- leave behind
Ok, in as much as I don't totally loathe this trend, I think if you cant pull it off, then let it go, mid riff barring isn't for everyone, especially if your abs are not to kill for like mine! :p... But if you must try at least use these pictures I'll share as guide pics. If not, please leave behind. Thank you.

HAREM PANTS- leave behind
Honestly,  this is one of those trends I'll never try! I think they make your butt look bigger, plus it looks funny and unflattering on most people, though on others it can be flattering *RME*, please just leave behind and explore other possibilities.

PEPLUM- carry over
These flouncy, and flirty silhouettes is a must carry over and a must have. Just find which is perfect for your body type; fitted or flared. Its a statement maker and its for keeps.

STRIPES- carry over
I love, love this trend. Stripes have a way of bringing an entire ensemble to life. Tip; It's best worn with a solid color. Try unusual colors too, or you could be a statement maker wearing stripe on stripe. A must carry over.

What are your thoughts on this post. lemme know.
